Welcome!

Thanks for visiting. My name is Elaine Wong and I work as a postdoctoral research associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the United States. My current research interests are in algorithmic solutions to combinatorial problems, computer algebra, applications of symbolic algorithms in quantum computing, and working with the quantum software stack. I am also big believer that rigorous mathematics informs better software and vice versa in a feedback loop. I try to use these principles in the way I approach work on both the math side and the computing side and I am comfortable with working on both sides.

I can be contacted via email —  wongey at ornl dot gov.
